Hello My name is Ashley. I am from Fostoria, Ohio and I am 24 years old. I have been married for 3 years and have loved every minute of it! We have two dogs and two rabbits. I enjoy swimming, jet skiing, boating, water skiing, scrapbooking, shopping, watching movies, listening to music, and just being with my husband and our families!!
I am here because it is required for my major and I admit I am very nervous about this class! I hope to learn more about computers and how I can use them to teach my future students! I also want to learn about Mac. I also am interested in buying a lap top and I hope that this class will help me decide between a Mac and a Dell.
At this point I understand that using technology as a learning tool is important; however, I also feel that as a society we have to know how to live without technology too! I want to give my students a variety of experiences using both technology and real life. I want my students to be able to use a calculator or a computer to add and subtract, but I also want them to be able to add and subtract without technology as well!
